International Community & Worship
Since this blog began a few days ago, I’ve been watching the site meter to see what areas of the world people are visiting from. It’s exciting to see all the places. So far, besides dozens of states, we’ve had visits from Canada, United Kingdom, Venezuela, & Belgium.
Then, this morning, I got an e-mail from Kristy, the Area Director in Ryde, New South Wales, Australia. How awesome is it that we are beginning to build some international relationships. It’s my hope that out of those relationships, God will show us what his kingdom is really like, and allow us to build each other up for our individual ministries.
After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. – Revelation 7:9 (NIV)
In the same way, God encouraged me by showing me a world much bigger than Orlando, Florida this morning at Church. He has blessed my church with international partnerships and a worship service over the internet. We have 7 services each weekend and live stream them. Many times, our worship team finds ways to allow internet worshippers from all over the world to take part in the service. Today, we read scripture that people worshipping over the internet picked for us to read, emphasizing that God is the ruler of the Universe.
I thought some of you might be interested in worshipping with us every now and then, particularly if you are stuck inside for whatever reason and can’t get to church. it’s a pretty cool use of technology. Our worship times are (Eastern Standard) 5:00 pm Saturday; 8:15 am, 9:45 am, 11:00 am, 5:00 pm, & 6:30 pm Sunday, & 7:00 pm Monday. Here’s the link.
