I came across a blog post today titled, “Where Youth Ministry Must Go…”
It didn’t go into much detail, but there was this paragraph,
…we might attempt to peak around the corner and and gain a prophetic view of what youth ministry must become and where it must go.
I don’t know about you, but reading that made me so thankful that I’m involved in a ministry that doesn’t have to do that.
Going where kids are is such a simple & consistent philosophy. It just works.
While discussions are great and leadership conferences are valuable, Young Life doesn’t have to look around any corner, because we’re going around the corners as our kids go around them. In fact, if we’re doing ministry the way Jesus did, we’re going around those corners with our kids.
Where does our ministry have to go? Wherever the kids go. I love the adventure of it!
