Procrastination
I’m a procrastinator. But, I feel so good when I do things on time. I even came up with a phrase a few years ago that I stuck by for about a week. “Do it now! Do it right!” I actually tried to do that and let it be my mission statement.  It helped me do everything around the house, at work, where ever. But then I got back into the procrastination rut. I just found this article by John Maxwell on the topic (pdf) , and thought it might be useful to some of you, as well. Â
He says first we must identify procrastination.
- When faced with a problem, do I take a long time analyzing before I act?
- When given an assignment, do I automatically place it in the “to do later” pile?
- Do I keep handling the same things over and over?
He goes on to give some excellent steps to help avoid procrastination.
