Even though I was hoping that a Gator-led football team would win the Super Bowl, I was excited about what I heard Coach Dungy say as he was being presented with the championship trophy. Tony mentioned about how great it was that two African-American head coaches led their teams to the Super Bowl, but then he added that it was even more amazing that they had led their teams with Christian values and lived lives in obedience to Christ. What an amazing thing for him to say with the entire world watching!

Campus Crusade For Christ’s program, “Athletes in Action”, sponsored a website about Coach Dungy and Coach Smith (www.beyondtheultimate.org). It is very well done, and tells their stories about what has made God #1 in their lives. If you are gearing up to give a club talk this week, you made find some great stuff to use. There is even some video!

There is something about hearing other people’s stories that helps us to see Christ in a new way, in a way that makes Him more real. And it is amazing how often our own stories change. So today, take a few minutes to think about what God has brought you through and where He is leading you. Then, take a few more minutes to share your story with someone else. By doing this, you will be able to help someone see Christ in a new way.
