This is why we have to Earn The Right To Be Heard.

A few days ago, I posted some club talk principles, and one of them was to stay away from words like “church” & “christian”.

I haven’t read the entire book unChristian, but have flipped through some of the statistics.  This youtube video is an interview of Gabe Lyons on CNN about what young people think when they hear the word “Christianity”.  He makes some great points.

In one sense this makes me sad about the church in general, but doing incarnational ministry I have absolutely no problem hearing this.  It’s not about Christianity, it’s about Jesus.
